— GOOD TO KNOW —

A few
answers.

And for everything else, we answer in person - never with an automated message.

Write to us
How many nights minimum?
The minimum stay is two nights on weekends. The possible durations for your dates are shown when booking on Reservit.
Check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3 p.m., check-out before 11 a.m. Check-in is self-service via the secure key box near the door: the code is sent to you by message. Each cabin has its own assigned parking, marked with its name. Want to arrive earlier or leave later? Ask us in advance, we’ll do our best subject to availability.
What if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation up to 14 days before your stay: the 30% deposit is refunded (the 70% balance has not yet been charged). Less than 14 days out, the deposit becomes non-refundable and the balance is due. A credit rather than a refund whenever possible, for last-minute cancellations tied to exceptional circumstances.
The unexpected happens and we understand - it has happened to us too! Our cancellation policy aims to protect our travellers as much as our small business. If an exceptional situation keeps you from travelling, don’t hesitate to reach out. Whenever possible, we always favour a fair solution for everyone.
Can I book all three cabins?
Two cabins are open (up to 8 guests total), and the third, “Encore un peu...”, opens soon. For a reunion or an event, write to us via the contact page: we’ll shape the stay together.
Are pets welcome?
At Le Hamac, we love animals. Well-behaved companions are welcome, as long as they cause neither nuisance nor damage - the cabins being close together, we ask for some good judgment regarding size and temperament. A fee of $40 per stay applies, and please pick up after your pet.
How does payment work?
Payment happens on the secure Reservit engine (Stripe), never on this page. 30% at booking (non-refundable after the cancellation deadline), then the remaining 70% is charged automatically 14 days before arrival. A $50 cleaning fee per stay applies, plus taxes.
Can I work remotely during my stay?
Absolutely. The cabins are equipped with high-performance high-speed Internet, letting you work remotely, join video calls or stay connected as needed. And who knows? Your coffee break might happen to the sound of birds and a mountain view, rather than the hum of the photocopier.
Can I reach the cabins by snowmobile or ATV?
Snowmobile and ATV trails are easily accessible near the cabins. Depending on your route and the season’s conditions, you can enjoy the vast Charlevoix trail network during your stay. We’ll be happy to point you to the best access points before your arrival.

Respecting the place
We arranged this place with great care and hope it will let you create beautiful memories. We thank you for taking care of the cabin and the equipment at your disposal as you would at home. If a breakage or an issue occurs during your stay, simply let us know. Fees may be charged for damage caused by negligence or improper use of the facilities.
Minimum age to book
The main renter must be at least 18 years old and present throughout the stay.

Pets
Pets are welcome at Le Hamac. We know they are often part of the family, and that holidays are even better when shared. The cabins being close to one another, we count on your good judgment so that everyone can fully enjoy their stay. A fee of $40 per stay applies. Please pick up the little souvenirs left by your companion, and see that it respects the place as much as its humans.
Neighbours and quiet
Le Hamac - le temps suspendu is a place where you come to rest, enjoy nature and slow down. So that everyone can fully enjoy their stay, we ask you to respect the quiet of the place and of your neighbours. Between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., please keep noise to a minimum. At all times, music and outdoor activities must stay at a reasonable level to preserve the calm and peace of the site.
Parties and events
A birthday, a reunion, a special request or another moment to mark? Tell us about your project! We’ll gladly assess the possibilities to find a solution that respects both your event and the quiet of the place. After all, some moments deserve to be celebrated.

We want your stay to unfold in enjoyment, relaxation and complete safety. We invite you to fully enjoy the place while showing caution and respect towards the facilities at your disposal. Le Hamac - le temps suspendu cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, losses, thefts or damage to personal belongings that may occur during your stay.
Force majeure
Certain situations beyond our control, such as a power outage, a storm or a temporary service interruption, may unfortunately occur. If this happens, we will always do our best to inform, accompany and support you when the situation allows. Le Hamac - le temps suspendu cannot however be held responsible for the inconveniences that may result. And if a power outage joins your stay, you’ll find flashlights and candles in one of the kitchen drawers.
Respecting nature
We are lucky to live in an exceptional natural environment. We invite you to fully enjoy the place while respecting the wildlife, the flora and the neighbouring properties.
Outdoor fires
Outdoor fires are part of the joy of staying at the cabin! Use only the installation designed for this purpose. Also make sure Mother Nature and municipal regulations are on board (no strong winds or burning ban in effect). Have fun, safely!
Remote work and Internet
Each cabin is equipped with high-speed Internet access. However, Le Hamac - le temps suspendu cannot be held responsible for service interruptions or connection problems beyond its control.
