Le Goût des Choses inc., which operates Le Hamac - le temps suspendu, places great importance on the protection of your personal information. This policy describes the information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have, in accordance with Québec’s Law 25.

Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, your email, your phone number (optional) and the content of your message.
• Booking request: the chosen cabin, the dates and the number of guests. Payment is handled by Reservit and Stripe; we receive no card data.
• Browsing data: anonymized audience statistics, measured without cookies or trackers (Plausible).

Why we use it

• To answer your questions and prepare your stay.
• To manage booking requests and their follow-up.
• To improve the site and the quality of our services.

Consent

By sending us your information through the form or during a booking request, you consent to its use for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Sharing with third parties

We never sell your information. We rely on trusted providers, only as necessary:

• Reservit - booking and calendar management.
• Stripe - secure payment processing, within Reservit.
• Resend - delivery of emails sent from the contact form.
• Plausible - audience measurement, without cookies or personal information. The tool is hosted on our own servers in Canada: no browsing data leaves the country or is passed to a third-party service.

Some of these providers may process data outside Québec; we take reasonable measures to ensure an adequate level of protection.

Retention and security

We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, then we delete or anonymize it. We implement reasonable measures to protect it against loss, unauthorized access or use.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies. Audience measurement (Plausible) works without cookies. The booking pages hosted by Reservit may set cookies strictly necessary for their operation.

Your rights

In accordance with Law 25, you may:

• access the information we hold about you;
• request its correction;
• withdraw your consent;
• request the deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
